January 2012 Papertrey Ink Blog Hop/PART I

Welcome! To the First PTI Bog Hop of 2012
This month, in honor of the new year, we are challenged to pick our favorite project from 2011 and share it with everyone!  To take it a step further, we are also challenged to create a second card that is inspired by the favorite project we selected.  I choose the first project I did for the 2011 January Blog Hop here.
2011 Blog Hop Cards above
I made another set of note cards that will be a gift to a friend that turns 88 next week.

I carried the Faux Ribbon stamping over to this new set and also used both Bitty Dot Basic pattern paper. Each card highlights one of the Flower Fusion sets I presently own.
2012 Blog Hop Cards

Each card is finished inside with a little scalloped edging.

Each card uses a PTI bold color cardstock for the matting and a little bit of matching Twinery thread. I will be making a box to present these in and will post later. Hope you enjoy and get a little inspiration from these.

Both sets are just delightful! If Flower Fusion were the only stamps I own, I could be satisfied forever. Stamping them over Bitty Dots really speeds up the process for such CAS designs. I love the scalloped border inside too! What a thoughtful gift for your friend.
