Becky's #2 CAC

the earth laughs in flowers
I like this card. It was fast to put together using the recipe card from
Becky Oehler's second Compose a Card Challenge

There are NO rules when it comes to how you sketch out your card or what inks you use, and you can use ANY elements or ANY stamp sets to create the style you want.  All you have to do is stay within the cutting recipe and colors.  This is a wonderful way to build up a library of card recipes!  We may use any supplies we wish, we just must stay within the color and cutting parameters!

I'm liking Becky's card recipe because I only had to think of an appropriate sentiment to place on it. Well, that and how to arrange everything on the front cover. I scored two lines on the left of the mat and three at the bottom so they crossed over each other at the bottom left corner. On the larger punched flowers, I sponged each with ink matching the colored paper. It is hard to see in the photo but the Aqua and Pink flowers have a pattern from the sponge on them.  Twine was added to each flower from underneath. Easy Peasy as some would say!
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Green Thumb
Paper: Papertrey Ink White, Aqua Mist, Lemon Tart, Summer Sunrise, Hibiscus Burst
Ink: Hibiscus Burst, Aqua Mist, Lemon Tart
Accessories: Flower punches from Stampin' Up!, Twine and buttons from Papertrey Ink
